Best Buddies

Today's card features another charity shop Penny Black find...this one is a really old one (that I hadn't seen anywhere before) and is called 'Best Buddies'. I love how they're all reading in their jimjams! I stamped it on to watercolour paper, then coloured it using watercolour pencils. I used a couple of  different floral papers from the 'Watercolour Feelings' pad from The Works for the background...distressing the edges, before adding some faux stitching using my CutterBee Bug and a black gel pen. The sentiment stamp is from the 'What this!' set by Anita Jerum for the Colorado Craft Company.

  4. You find the best stamps at your charity shops, have never seen any Penny Black's over here in USA at second hand shops but I do purchase them from eBay or etsy, in fact I just got one in the mail from Etsy that you used recently (Merry Band) :)
