Snow is Falling...

Surprise, surprise..I have another Christmas card to show you today...this time I cheated a little, and used one of the Lili of the Valley die cut images...cutting it into a circle shape with one of my Nesties, and adding lots of Flowersoft 'snow'. The papers are from the 'Believe' pad by My Mind's Eye, the brads are BasicGrey, the gold lace is from Dunelm Mill, and the sentiment is also by Lili of the Valley.

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long - Photo Inspiration

It's time for a new challenge over at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long, and this week we have an inspirational photo:

Our sponsor for this challenge is Meljen's Designs:

Meljen's Designs

The DT were all given Meljen's images to play with...I used 'Cocoa Christmas Fairy' on my card, colouring her using watercolour pencils, and adding some sparkle with some Stickles. I took my inspiration from the colours in the photo...green, white & gold...embossing some green Core'dinations card using my Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' and 'Snowflakes' folders and Sizzix/BasicGrey 'Snowglobe' folder...sanding over the surface to reveal the lighter coloured core. I cut the snowflakes using Marianne Designs and Cuttlebug dies, then covered them with more Stickles. The gold lace is from Dunelm Mill.

ABC Christmas Challenge - L is for...

We have a brand new ABC Christmas Challenge for you today, where Carissa is the host with a theme of:

'L for Lyrics'
We want to see Christmas projects inspired by the words of a Christmas carol/song.

We have two fabulous sponsors for this challenge:

Prize - a $15 voucher to spend at Simon Says Stamp

and

Prize - 2 digis from the Saturated Canary store

I've been inspired by the song 'Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer'...and used a cute Whiff of Joy stamp called 'Wee & Reindeer'...I coloured it using watercolour pencils...and gave my reindeer his shiny red nose with a dab of Glossy Accents. The papers are from the 'Blitzen' pad by Bo Bunny...I distressed the edges a little, then added faux stitching using my CutterBee Bug and a white gel pen. The gold lace is from Dunelm Mill.

ABC Christmas Challenge - G is for...

I have another card for our current ABC Christmas Challenge today...where the theme is:

'G is for - Gold, White & a touch of Green'

We have two wonderful sponsors:

The prize from Simon Says Stamp is a $15 voucher to spend in their online store

And

The prize from Elizabeth Craft Designs is 3 sheets of gold Christmas outline stickers

I've used a stamp from the Penny Black 'Holly-Jolly' set...which I coloured using watercolour pencils...adding some sparkle to the gold stars using a Sakura Stardust pen...and some 'Polar White' Flowersoft for the snow. I used a couple of Sizzix/BasicGrey embossing folders ('Powdered Sugar' & 'Snowglobe') for the background...it's so simple, but I love how white card looks when it's embossed. I bought the gold lace from Dunelm Mill last weekend, and the sentiment is from the 'Critter Party' set (also by Penny Black).
