ABC Christmas Challenge - G is for...

It's Jayne's turn to host the ABC Christmas Challenge this time, and the theme is:

'G is for Girly'

She's come up with a fabulous colour combination to use too:

Our sponsor for this challenge is Crafty Emma's Store:

The Prize is a £10.00 Voucher off any order at Emma's store.

For my card, I;ve used one of the Wild Rose Studio Fairies, that Emma stocks, called 'Ella with Flowers', which I coloured using watercolour pencils, and then used a Sakura Stardust pen to add some shimmer to her wings. The papers are from the 'Penny Lane' glitter pad by My Mind's Eye, and I matted them on to some silver mirror card. The flowers are from Kort & Godt, and the sparkly silver brads in their centres are by American Crafts.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:

Fred the Elephant

I've had this Whiff of Joy image ('Fred the Celebrating Elephant') in my image box for ages...so long in fact, that I can't remember who sent it to me...but thank you whoever you are...he's so cute! I followed the sketch from the Whiff of Joy Challenge...although I did tilt the image the other way...he looked really odd looking 'down hill'! The papers are by My Mind's Eye ('29th Street Market'), and I used my Cuttlebug 'Perfect Paisley' folder to emboss the plain purple one. I distressed the embossing with a sanding block, then all of the edges using my distressing tool...so I'm also going to enter this card into the Crafty Creations 'Distressing' challenge. The flowers are a mixture of Kort & Godt and Wild Orchid Crafts.

Just Cute Bears - Guest Designer

This is the second of my guest designer cards for the Just Cute Bears Challenge, where the theme this week is:

'Flowers'

The image I've used is 'Rainin' Daisies' (by Penny Black), with papers from the '29th Street Market' collection (by My Mind's Eye)...embossing the plain purple panel with my Cuttlebug 'Victoria' folder, then sanding to reveal the white core, and distressing all of the edges. The sentiment stamp is by Whiff of Joy - I've sent this card to my partner for this month's friendship card swap on the Docrafts forum. The flowers are a mixture of Poppicrafts & Kort & Godt.

Make sure you check out the cards by the fabulous Just Cute Bears design team! :0)
