Happy Birthday to you!

Woo-hoo...I have a 'non-Christmas' card for you today! I've made a masculine birthday card using a Penny Black stamp that I love...but have neglected recently...called 'to You....'. The papers are all from the Max & Whiskers' pad by BasicGrey, and I distressed all of the edges using inks and a distressing tool, before adding some faux stitching. I cut the stars using Nesties, and the ribbon is from Poppicrafts.

Challenges for this card:
I have candy on offer at the moment...if you haven't already entered, you can find all of the details on this post...you'll need to be quick though...it closes tomorrow night.

Feeling Fruity!

I was one of the lucky winners of last week's 'On the Beach' Penny Black Staurday Challenge...yippee! Thankfully the theme is a little easier this week...and they want to see 'Fruit' on our creations. The image I've used is from the 'Micey Nice Day' set...and it goes perfectly with the cherry paper (from the 'Lemonade' pad by BasicGrey)...I did add some Glossy Accents to the cherries...but it doesn't show up too well in this photo. The other paper is from a Paper Cellar pad called (rather unimaginatively!) 'Checks'. I distressed all of the edges with inks, and my distressing tool, and then added some faux stitching using my CutterBee Bug and a white gel pen...so I'm also entering this card into Pollycraft's 'In Stitches' challenge. The flowers are by Prima, the ribbon is from Poppicrafts, and the sentiment stamp stamp is from the 'Sending Sunshine' set by Simon Says Stamp.

Not 'Til Christmas

While I was away last weekend, I took a few images to colour...well...I go couldn't go completely cold turkey now...could I?
Anyway, I've used one of them on this card...it's called 'Not 'Til Christmas' by Penny Black. I watercoloured it to match these papers by Bo Bunny ('Tis the Season') which I bought last weekend at Penrith Crafts from the lovely Sandra...well it would have been rude not to buy anything! lol
There's not much else to it...I just inked all the edges, and added a large snowflake cut using my Cuttlebug 'Ice Crystal' die.

Of course there are some challenges:

'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

I don't know what's wrong with me...this is the third post in a row that's been a Christmas card! This one is a cute little easel card made with my Nesties. The image is from the 'Christmas Critters' set by Penny Black,  the paper is from the 'Wonderful Winter' glitter pad by My Mind's Eye, and I used my Nesties to cut the stars.
