On the second card, I used butterfly stamps from the 'Social Butterfly' set by Penny Black and more Distress Inks ('Shaded Lilac' and 'Dusty Concord'), stamping on to linen textured card. This time I masked off the flower image from the sentiment stamp and distressed the edges a little.
Challenges for these cards:
- Creative Knockouts - Anything Goes
- Less is More - Week 79 'Blue & Green' (First Card) & Week 16 'Butterflies' & Week 18 'Monochrome' (Second Card)
- Kaboodles Doodles - Anything Goes
- Stamping Sensations - Free & Easy

Both are beautiful in their sheer simplicity Helen.
ReplyDeleteI love butterflies but when I see Stampendous P107 there is no competition as it's my all time favourite stamp - I even have a second one 'just in case' - how sad is that.

I think sympathy cards can be hard to design but your 2 cards are both so elegant and with just the perfect touch of pretty colour.
