Today's card features a Penny Black stamp called 'Best of Luck!' that I picked up in a charity shop a few days ago...I'm a long time fan of the Penny Black chickens, so was thrilled to spot this! I stamped it on to watercolour paper, along with a sentiment from the 'Cheering Critters' set (also by Penny Black), then coloured the image using watercolour pencils. I paired it with papers from the 'Cut & Paste Charm' pad by My Mind's Eye...distressing the edges a little, then adding some faux stitching using my CutterBee Bug and a black gel pen.

Oh my god this is so cute and so beautifully colored. I am always amazed by this wonderful watercolor. It really looks so stunning. And your color scheme is so beautiful. It puts you in a good mood. And the background papers are really great with the image.
