My Favourite Cards of 2011

I'm joining in with Debby, and sharing my five favourite cards of 2011 today. When I went through all of last year's blog posts trying to choose...I ended up with a 'short list' of 22...lol...and there were definitely a few themes running through my choices...some of the cards looked spookily similar! I've linked each of the photos to the original blog post, so if you want to find out any details of any products used, simply click on the photo to find out more.

These mice, and the yummy papers were on a couple of my 'short listed' cards...along with plenty of inking, distressing & faux stitching!

Any regular visitor to my blog will know of my love for Penny Black stamps...this is one of my favourites...I love the versatility of this stamp...I've used just part of it on this card...and I do like a bit of patchwork effect for using up those paper scraps!

I've developed a bit of thing for Distress Inks and floral stamps this year...and had a few cards along that theme in my 'short list'...but I picked this one because it won me a prize in the Cardmaking & Papercraft Cardmaker of the Year competition :0)

I still love my white cards too...and embossing...and have been trying different card folds too.

And...I had to include a one layer CAS card...and a PB dog...this one makes me smile :0)

  3. Lovely selection Helen. I smile every time I see that dog in the car too! I agree it's almost impossible to choose your favourite cards. I chose 1 from each month but I think I could easily have chosen them all from my Christmas cards.
