Sebastian

Today's card features a cute Whipper Snapper pup stamp called 'Sebastian' that I picked up from a charity shop over Christmas. I stamped him onto some watercolour paper, along with a sentiment using stamps from the 'Birthday Buddies' set by Paper Smooches, then coloured him using watercolour pencils. The spotty background papers are from the 'Fresh Florals' pad by Craft Sensations...I distressed the edges, then added some faux stitching using my CutterBee Bug and a black gel pen.

Birthday Beagle

Today's card features an old (and neglected - last inked in 2023!) Whipper Snapper stamp called 'Birthday Beagle'. I stamped him on to watercolour paper, along with a sentiment from the 'Birthday Buddies' set by Paper Smooches. I added piece of stripey blue & green paper (from the 'Party Day' pad by Crate Paper) to a card blank, then layered the image on top - having added faux stitch to both layers using my CutterBee Bug and a black gel pen.

Moo'd Swing Bookmark

I have a simple bookmark to share today...made using a snippet of kraft card and a Whipper Stamp called 'Moo'd Swing'. I stamped the image on to the card, extended the ropes of the swing using a black gel pen, coloured the image using watercolour pencils, and used an old Woodware punch to round the corners.

I chose the cow image, as this bookmark was to go with this book as part of my Dad's Christmas present:

What's Moo?

Today's card features an old (and rather neglected) Whipper Stamp called 'Moo'd Swing', that to my shame, had not inked up since April 2018! I stamped her on to a kraft card blank, then coloured her using watercolour pencils. The sentiment is from one of the stamps (the cow) from Tim Holtz's 'Funny Farm' set for Stampers Anonymous.

Guest Designer - We Love Stamping

Today I'm sharing another Guest Designer card, this time for the We Love Stamping Challenge, where the theme for this month's challenge is:

'Anything Stamped'
(Optional 'Add a Stencil')

I have a few stencils...but hardly ever think to use them, so this was the 'kick up the bum' I needed! The stencil I picked is called 'Bones' by Funky Fossil. I laid the stencil over a kraft card blank, then used masking tape to create a strip across the middle, then sponged white pigment ink through the stencil. Once dry, I used it as a background for a cute Whipper Snapper pup called 'Birthday Beagle'. I stamped him on to watercolour paper, coloured him using watercolour pencils, then carefully cut him out...adding him over the top of the stencilled background using 3D foam pads. The sentiment is from the 'Birthday Buddies' set by Paper Smooches.

Boo Boo Bear

Today's card features an 'oldie but a goodie' stamp from Whipper Snapper called 'Boo Boo Bear'. I've used him to make a card for my Aunt who fell and broke her wrist, and I thought that Boo Boo with his arm in a sling was just perfect! I stamped him on to watercolour paper, then coloured him using watercolour pencils. I added a sentiment underneath Boo Boo (from the 'Sketched Flowers' set by Simon Says Stamp), then used one fo my circle Nesties to cut him out. I paired him with papers from the Craft Sensations 'Vintage Dreams' pad...distressing all of the edges before adding some faux stitching using my Cutter Bee Bug and a black gel pen.
