Boo!

I have a Halloween card to share today...using a couple of Penny Black spider stamps (from the 'Spooky' and 'Be Very Scared' sets). I added a little extra colour to the images using watercolour pencils, then inked around the edges using 'Black Soot' Distress Ink. I matted the image on to a snippet of purple card (to match the spider's glasses!), then added it to my card on some 3D foam pads. I added a handwritten sentiment in a white gel pen.

I love the dramatic Halloween colours and the way you've used Black Soot DI to get a ghostly grey around the images. Can't believe you hand wrote the sentiment - it looks so fab! Thanks for sharing with us at Less is More :)

Oh Helen - this really is fabulous! Made me smile and should be a real contender for the LIM challenge! And of course you used snippets :)

I was sure I was following you, just added myself!

Hugs

Aren't those spiders fantastic? Absolutely adore them Helen, and the topper that you created using them is superb. Love that you used a black card base to add to the spookiness of this card. Gosh, your hand written sentiment is perfect! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More. xx

I love this super fun card and the spiders (which I will admit to normally hating)
