I thought I'd make a bright sunny card to try and brighten up this miserable and grey Bank Holiday...so I went 'Yellow' for this week's
Less is More Challenge. I'm not really a 'yellow' kind of person...much prefer my cool colours...but I thought I'd give it a go. I started by blending 'Wild Honey' Distress Ink over a piece of white card...adding a little 'Spiced Marmalade' towards the bottom and around the edges...then stamped 'Blooming Meadows' by Hero Arts (love this stamp!) over the top in 'Spiced Marmalade'. I made a 'spotlight' by using the resist stamping technique...embossing the same stamp in white, blending the same inks over the top, then cutting out the circle using one of my Nesties...inking around the edge to help make it stand out, and popping it up on foam pads. The sentiment stamp is from the 'Wonderful' set by Penny Black.
