'J is for Jingle Bells'
We are sponsored for this challenge by:
And the fabulous prize is:
This time I've used a cute Penny Black image (from the 'Jolly Friends' set)...although this is more of a 'One-hedgied' open sleigh! I coloured it using watercolour pencils, then added the same sentiment as on last week's card (from a Studio G set). For the background, I embossed some white vellum using Cuttlebug and Sizzix snowflake folders, then layered it over navy blue card, attaching it using some BasicGrey brads.I added a couple of little jingly bells (from Hobbycraft) using some twine (from the Ribbon Girls).
I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
- CCEE Stampers - Embossing on Vellum
- Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas - Touch of the Blues
- Love to Create - Song Inspired (Jingle Bells)
- Winter Wonderland - Embossing
For more inspiration from my lovely DT buddies, please pop over to the ABC Christmas Challenge.
Simply yummy hun! Love the look of the embossed vellum, and who could resist the hedgie/snowie combo?! Hugs Sxx

ReplyDeleteHelen: WOW, I really enjoyed browsing through your blog. I really like your style, and think you've got some amazing art here. I would like to let you know that, as a member of the Pile It On Design Team, you are always welcome to "pile it on" over at Word Art Wednesday. We don't limit the number of other challenges you can enter, so it would be AWESOME to have you share your beautiful work in our challenges. You'd be a welcome addition, and have a chance to win prizes. We offer free word art each week, but you are not required to use it. Your entries just have to be encouraging/uplifting (basically G-rated) and fun - much like all of your art is. I hope you will check us out and play along when you are "piling it on".
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Karen
