It's the third Saturday of the month, so that means it's time for some more inspiration for this month's Penny Black Saturday Challenge...where the theme is:
'Anything Goes'
or
'Winter Wonderland'
As usual, we are sponsored by the awesome 1-2-3 Stitch:
Prize - a $20 voucher!
The stamp I used on my card is called 'Warm Reception'. I stamped it on to watercolour paper using 'Smoky Grey' Versafine ink, along with a sentiment from the 'Scribbly Christmas' set by Tim Holtz for Stamnpers Anonymous. I added some sparkle to the snow on the trees, roof and ground using a Wink of Stella pen, then distressed the edges a little before adding it to a kraft card blank.
The touch of sparkle is really pretty in real life...but virtually possible to capture in a photo:
- Aud Sentiments - Non-traditional Christmas Colours and/or Winter & a Sentiment
- Little Red Wagon - Merry Christmas
- Peace on Earth - Anything Christmas
- Stamping Sensations - Anything Goes (Optional 'Winter')
- Sweet Stampin' - Christmas Creations
- We Love Stamping - Anything Goes (Optional 'Winter')

Oh my Helen, doesn't this look stunning in monochrome and I can imagine the glistening elements, you've inspired me to go and be brave to create something and refrain from adding colour.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for sharing at Stamping Sensations and We Love Stamping challenges. Wishing you a very Happy Christmas.
