Quality Street Wreath

Today I'm sharing my annual Quality Street chocolate wreath! I made the first one back in 2012...and am still re-using the same polystyrene ring as the base! The chocolates are glued on to the polystyrene ring using a hot glue gun. Every year there are fewer and fewer chocolates in the tub - the first year there were too many chocolates to fit on the wreath, and now there are lots of spaces on the back! I'm also not sure whether I like the new paper wrappers - they have a really dull finish...and are no way near as pretty as the old foil and cellophane ones...and there's SO much yellow! Anyway, it will taste just as good!

  1. SO true of most Christmas chocolate tins Helen, I always buy a couple of Roses, opened one at the weekend and it looked half empty before we started on them.

But I love what you have created, totally unique, many thanks for joining us at Allsorts challenge.

  2. That’s such a great idea, and how interesting to have a visual record of how contents have been reduced so much. Happy Christmas xxx

  5. last week at our granddaughter's birthday party there were also quality street sweets on the table and the first thing I thought was, Helen's qualitystreet wreath will look a lot less festive this year with those ugly wrappers. I liked the old wrappers better.

  7. Wow, this looks like a wreath that is out of this world. Yummy! I have always loved this Quality Street chocolate since I first came to England a long time ago.
