Driving Along in my Automobile

I have a simple one layer card to share today...featuring one of the critters from the 'Hello Friend' set by Penny Black. I stamped it on to a kraft card blank, then coloured it using watercolour pencils. I added a fun sentiment from the 'Laugh Out Loud Again' set by Clearly Besotted.

Fluffy Robin

Today's card features a new (to me) Woodware stamp called 'Fluffy Robin'. I stamped him on to watercolour paper, along with one of the sentiments that came with him, then coloured him using watercolour pencils. I distressed the edges of the paper a little, then added it to a kraft card blank.

Joy Filled Stockings

I have a Christmas card to share today...featuring a cute Penny Black stamp called 'Joy Filled Stockings'. I stamped it on to watercolour paper, coloured it using watercolour pencils, then carefully cut it out. I stamped a sentiment from the 'Wintertime Messages' set by Hero Arts on to a kraft card blank, then added the image above popped up on 3D foam pads.

The Three Meows

Today's card features another Penny Black charity shop find (this one was free with the fabby chicken stamp I used on this card!) called 'The Three Meows'. I stamped it on to watercolour paper, coloured it using watercolour pencils, then doodled a simple border using a black gel pen. I kept the background really simple...adding a few snippets of paper from the 'Cut & Paste Charm' pad by My Mind's Eye to a kraft card blank. The sentiment is from the 'Watch This' set by Anita Jerum for Colorado Crafts.

Torn Snowflake Edges

I have a Christmas card to share today...inspired by the 'Torn Edges' theme of the current AAA Cards Challenge. I stamped one of the stamps from the 'Snowflake Edges' set (by Simon Says Stamp) on to a snippet of watercolour paper, using Versamark Ink, then heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I watercoloured over the top of the embossing using Distress Inks (Chipped Sapphire, Dusty Concord, Uncharted Mariner, Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers & Broken China), then once dry, I carefully tore along one of the edges of the snowflakes. I heat embossed a sentiment (from the Winter Blessings' set by Crafter's Companion) in white on an aqua card blank, then added the torn snowflake panel.

Golden Wedding

I have a golden wedding anniversary card to share today. I picked an image from the 'Cheering Critters' set by Penny Black of a cute cat and dog clinking their glasses of bubbly, stamping them on to watercolour paper, colouring them using watercolour pencils, before carefully cutting them out. For the background, I used several embossing folders (Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' and 'D'Vine Swirls' and a 'Hearts' one from Sizzix), embossing various snippets of cream coloured linen card, and matting those on to snippets of gold mirror card. I added a Lili of the Valley sentiment...heat embossed in gold, and a '50' cut using my Cuttlebug 'Olivia' alphabet dies using yet more snippets.

Snow Much Fun

Today's card features a stamp set that I picked up in a charity shop last week, called 'Snow Much Fun', by Crafter's Companion. I stamped the penguins on to a kraft card blank, then added one of the sentiments from the set. I coloured the image using watercolour pencils.

I have a birthday card to share today...featuring a Penny Black stamp called 'Airborne'. I stamped it on to watercolour paper, then coloured the image using watercolour pencils...I made it for the daughter of a friend of mine, so coloured the dog in the basket to match her cockapoo Benji. I used a piece of watercolur effect paper (from the 'Watercolour Moods' pad from The Works) for the background, stamping a couple of sentiments from the 'Watch This' set by Anita Jeram/Colorado Crafts...I had to stamp each in two sections to make them fit the space. I distressed the edges a little, then added some faux stitching using my CutterBee Bug and a black gel pen.
