I have a Christmas card to share today...featuring a cute Penny Black pup from the 'Wintertime Cheer' set. I stamped him on to a snippet of watercolour paper, coloured him using watercolour pencils, then carefully cut him out. I added a snippet of spotty paper from an un-named pad by Stampin' Up (that I picked up a few years ago in a charity shop) along the bottom of a kraft card blank, before adding the pup on top using some 3D foam pads. The sentiment is an old wood mounted Penny Black stamp.

Great CAS card design! Love the colours, the red and white polka dot paper looks so good against the craft, and the little reindog is absolutely adorable! Thank you for sharing and playing along with us at AAA Cards! Hope to see you in future challenges too! Take care and keep crafting!
ReplyDeleteLove the Kraft and red together and you did a great job coloring the dog. Thanks so much for sharing your card with us on the AAA Cards Challenge.
ReplyDeleteAdorable CAS card! The kraft and red just great for having that fun image take the stage. Thank you for joining the Allsorts challenge.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Helen! I almost ran off to buy the stamp set but stopped short when I realised the reindeer doggy has a spotted body and ears. Otherwise it's perfect from Dudley to hos doggy friends! :) Love the colour of the spotted paper and also how you matched the bandana perfectly! As every, a perfect card!

I need HELP! The penny dropped when I spotted Kathy K's entry that I've had the 'Winter Wonderland' stamp set for ages - and also used it a fair bit - for the robins especially. When I bought it, Dudley wasn't in our lives - so that's my excuse for missing the adorable 'reindeer pooch' stamp! He's suffering in this heat poor mite - we have cool tiles in many areas of the house including the hallway - but mostly - the night air in the garden is his favourite place to be. At 2am for half an hour?! Having a little snoozelet. OK? He's the boss! x
ReplyDeleteSweet little doggy and lovely card. Like the CAS style.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us last week @ Little Red Wagon. Hope you are coming back again for next Challenge. It´s a fun one.
