Today's card was inspired by the 'Splatters' challenge over at
Less is More this week. I started by stamping the cute little Penny Black cat (called 'Design by Me!), then coloured him using watercolour pencils. I thought that he looked like he might be making a mess with that paintbrush, so I splodged some watered-down Distress Inks in co-ordinating colours (Spiced Marmalade, Picked Preserves & Broken China) on to my card blank, then added a Hero Arts sentiment (from the 'Anytime Messages' set) over the top.
Challenges for this card:
This is so cute and funny! I love the cat's expression - caught doing the splatters! Fab LIM card :)

Fab cat image Helen, can just imagine the thought process it is going through (where did that come from? who me? What paintbrush?) haha. Great interpretation of the theme and those paint splatters really pop. Thanks so much for joining us at Less is More.
