ABC Christmas Challenge - W is for...

This fortnight, Lorraine is the host at the ABC Christmas Challenge...with a challenge theme of:

'W is for Wrap It Up!'
(We want to see gift bags, boxes and wrapping paper)

We have two fabulous sponsors for this challenge:

Prize - a $15 voucher to spend at Simon Says Stamp

I alwaya wrap all of my presents in brown paper...and just use ribbons to 'pretty' them up...but to make this a little bit more special, I've watermark stamped some snowflakes all over it (snowflake stamps are by Papermania). I used a digi stamp from the Stamping Boutique called 'Holly Berry' to decorate a tag to go with it...printing it out on a couple of scraps of patterned paper (from the 'Believe' & 'Countdown to Christmas' pads by My Mind's Eye)...the sentiment stamp is by Paper Make-Up. I used some plain brown string to tie up the parcel, then attaced the tag using some bright red seambinding ribbon from the Ribbon Girls.

For more inspiration from my lovely DT buddies, please pop over to the ABC Christmas Challenge.

  6. Wonderful way to dress up a simple brown paper package tied up with string. This really is one of my favorite things. Your tag is beautiful and I like the shimmer from the snowflakes on the Kraft paper.

  7. Love this look. I did brown paper packages tied up with string 2 yrs ago and black boxes with silver bows and white and silver ornate tags last year...
This year for my Mum and sister who live in the same small town and celebrate Christmas together, I am thinking of doing something like you show here.
Instead of snowflakes I will stamp horse running with versamark. (My sister was an Olympic 3 day Event rider.
Then tie then with jute twine and maybe a red jingle bell on each. Tags like you but the running horses and a Xmas tree in the background.

    Love yours!
