This week, it's my turn to set the theme of the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge, and I have chosen:
'Dust off your stash'
(In other words, show some love to something neglected)
My neglected stash, is this adorable 'Ruffles - A Present for You' by Helz Cuppledich for Stampavie...which last saw ink at the start of last August...shocking! I coloured him with watercolour pencils, then cut it out using one of my 'Lacey Circle' Nesties (available here at the Secret Crafter). The papers are from the 'Colourful Christmas' collection by My Mind's Eye...and I distressed the edges a little before adding some faux stitching using my CutterBee Bug and a white gel pen. The sentiment stamp is from the 'Critter Party' set by Penny Black.
I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
- Corrosive - Turquoise & Pink
- Crafty Ann's - Happy Birthday
- One Stop Craft - Birthdays
- Totally Stamplicious - Use a stamp that's not seen ink in at least 6 months (I last used this stamp in August 2010)
stunning creation and love the image
