I have a simple Christmas card to share today, made using a stamp that I received for Christmas called 'Dotty Tree' by Woodware stamps. I stamped it on to a snippet of black card using Versamark ink, then heat embossed it metallic gold embossing powder from WOW. I used Cosmic Shimmers mica pigments mixed with a little water to watercolour the tree in a mixture of green, gold and red. I matted it on to a snippet of gold mirror card, before adding it to a white card blank.

Gorgeous card. The contrast between the tree and that dark background is awesome and the texture of the embossing powders is fantastic. Thanks for joining us at My Time To Craft. Hugs, María.

A very striking Christmas card. Love black and turquoise together. Such a shame the camera never picks up glitter and shine. I bet it's spectacular IRL.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy New Year.
Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse to finish off some of the festive food and drink shortly. xxx
What a wonderful card! I love the whimsy tree shape and awesome colours. Thank you for playing with the All Occasion theme with the Krafty Chicks Challenge.
