I have a birthday card to share today...featuring a Penny Black stamp called 'Airborne'. I stamped it on to watercolour paper, then coloured the image using watercolour pencils...I made it for the daughter of a friend of mine, so coloured the dog in the basket to match her cockapoo Benji. I used a piece of watercolur effect paper (from the 'Watercolour Moods' pad from The Works) for the background, stamping a couple of sentiments from the 'What This' set by Anita Jeram/Colorado Crafts...I had to stamp each in two sections to make them fit the space. I distressed the edges a little, then added some faux stitching using my CutterBee Bug and a black gel pen.
