Today's card features two more new to me Penny Black stamps...'Suspenseful Music' (the cat) and 'Merry Band' (the rest), which I combined to make a little marching band. I stamped the mice and hedgies first, then added the cat behind them (having masked off the mice from his trombone before stamping). I coloured them using watercolour pencils, then distressed the edges a little before adding the panel to a kraft card blank. The sentiments are from the 'Anytime Messages' set by Hero Arts.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure they'll play the instruments really well, but this is the cutest marching band I've ever seen!! And I'm glad the cat's instrument isn't hitting anyone as it plays!!
