Reindog

I have a Christmas card to share today, featuring one of the stamps from the 'Wintertime Cheer' set by Penny Black, stamped on to watercoour paper, then coloured using watercolour pencils. I made an inky snowy sky background for him, by stamping my 'Falling Snow' background stamp (by Simon Says Stamp) on to smooth white card using Versamark Ink, then heat embossing it using white embossing powder, then blending Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China & Chipped Sapphire) over the top. I trimmed it down, then matted it onto a snippet of navy card, before adding my pup on top, and attaching it to my card blank. The sentiment stamp is from a set by the Colorado Craft Company.

  10. What a gorgeous card - I think your ink blending is great and keeping the white colour in the embossing is quite an art when inking over the top. Thanks for joining us at Less is More.
