Blossom Branch Golden Wedding

Today's card is a golden wedding anniversary card made for a friend of mine to give to her parents next month. I stamped my Penny Black 'Blossom Branch' stamp across one corner of a panel of white card, then heat embossed it using 'Metallic Gold Sparkle' embossing powder by WOW. I added a sentiment (from the 'Everyday Messages' set by Happy Little Stampers), also heat embossed in the sparkly gold, and some die cut numbers (cut from gold glitter card using my Cuttlebug 'Olivia' alphabet dies. I lightly distressed the edges, matted the panel on to a piece of gold glitter card...and distressed the edges of that too before adding it to my card blank.

In an effort to show the sparkle...here's another photo:

  9. Since you mentioned the name of the stamp I know that it’s one I have in my stash, but I didn’t recognize it at first. I like your partial use of the stamp and how you kept it elegant all in gold and white. Thanks for joining our challenge at Inkspirational!
