Chicky Nights!

Today's card features lots of snippets of glitter card (from a pad by American Crafts). I had lots, but all of different widths, so glued them on to a snippet of white card at an angle to make a sort of glitter rainbow. Inspired by the array of colours, I picked a Penny Black stamp called 'Chicky Nights'...they're coloured in pretty pastel shades on the woodblock stamp, but I went a little bolder to match the glitter. I coloured them using watercolour pencils, then added a sentiment (from the 'Anytime Messages' set by Hero Arts), and doodled a simple border.

    Super use of snippets Helen and a really great card. I love that you matched the colouring to the stripes as well, always works brilliantly even though it can take longer to find the right match of marker or pencil. Ask me how I know this - Sunday's snippets card which I made over the past couple of days follows the same principle :)
