Birthday Dog

I have a simple little card featuring one of my oldest and most used stamps...'Birthday Dog' by Penny Black. Although I usually use him on more masculine cards, I used the 'neapolitan' colours of this week's Less is More Challenge to make something a little more feminine. I used watercolour pencils to colour the image, then added sentiment (from the 'Anytime Messages' set by Hero Arts), and doodled a simple border.

    Helen, thank you for getting this in at SOS this week! I love this dog and love that you shared that this is your oldest and most-used stamp! That is so interesting to me to hear as a crafter as it causes me to think, "What is my most-used stamp?" Super cute. Join us again!

    I'm not surprised this stamp gets used a lot - he is brilliant and can always have a variety of colours to change the appearance.
