O' Christmas Tree

Another Christmas card from me today...featuring another of the trees from Tim Holtz's 'Scribbly Christmas' set. I heat embossed it using clear powder, then blended a few shades of blue Distress Inks over the top (Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans & Chipped Sapphire). To add a little texture to the background, I splattered a little water over the top allowing it to remove some of the ink. I distressed the edges a little, then matted the panel on to a scrap of navy card. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.
