I've made myself a 'back to school' notebook (I'm a music teacher) to help me plan for the new academic year ahead. The plain notebook came from Hobbycraft - I picked up a load of these in the sale after last Christmas...I knew they'd come in handy eventually! The image is 'Toot the Flute' by Penny Black, which I coloured using watercolour pencils, and the music backgrounds are Hero Arts stamps. I blended some 'Old Paper' Distress Ink over the white card to 'age' it a little. The papers are from the 'Recollections' pad by Michaels...I distressed the edges of everything using 'Brushed Corduroy' Distress Ink, and my distressing tool, before adding my faux stitching my CutterBee Bug and a black gel pen.The prize for this challenge is three rolls of ribbon:
