Pile It On! Challenge - Anything but Christmas

This week at Pile It On! our challenge theme is:

'Anything but Christmas'

I've made a couple of simple thank you cards, using up some scraps of BasicGrey papers (from the 'Sugared' and 'Marjolaine' pads). I inked the edges using 'Old Paper' Distress Ink, then added faux stitching using my CutterBee Bug and a black gel pen, then matted the strips on to a piece of white card...edges also inked with 'Old Paper'...before stamping a sentiment (from the 'Sending Sunshine' set by Simon Says Stamp), and adding some co-ordinating twine (by Dovecraft) and a few adhesive pearls.

    Helen, your thank you cards may be "simple" according to your description but they are nonetheless lovely. I really like the way you've done three panels on each one' inked the edges and then machine stitched them. The simple "thanks" at the corner looks very nice.
