Goodwill Blog Hop!

*Please scroll down for my Penny Black Saturday Challenge DT Project :0) *

Welcome to the first Goodwill "the power of work" Blog Hop!  You should have arrived from Melin, if not please go to the beginning of the blog hop at STAMPERGIRL's BLOG.

Today finalises Goodwill's "the power of work" week, a yearly effort done to promote the idea of supporting your local Goodwill stores (known as Charity shops here in the UK).

Our challenge to you is to use a Goodwill find in your project. Think of all the possibilities, it could be an altered item, or use some buttons or fabric from a vintage shirt. Throughout the blog hop you will find inspiration from all the amazing line up we have for you.

You have two ways to get your name into the winning pot - a $20 Gift Certificate from Cropstop.com, 2 Cutting files or Digital Stamps by Paper Crafting World, and a 'Just a little note' stamp set from Emma Aguilar at My Creative Time. In addition to that, some of the ladies have some giveaways too!
And that's not all use code CTAA-01 for a 10% off your purchases from Cropstop.com.

1.  Leave a comment at every stop of the blog hop (12 stops = 12 comments), GO back to the beginning of the blog hop (STAMPERGIRL's BLOG)  and leave your NAME in MR. LINKY.
2.  Leave a comment at every stop of the blog hop (12 stops = 12 comments) AND play with us with our Goodwill challenge. GO back to the beginning of the blog hop (STAMPERGIRL's BLOG)  and leave your NAME (AND THE word PROJECT) in MR. Linky.  If you don't have a Goodwill store near you, then try another store like Goodwill.

Ok, so on to my project. I'm a regular visitor to charity shops...you never know what you might find, and I've been lucky and even picked up a few rubber stamps, 12x12 papers, and shimmer paints & spritzers...but today I'm using buttons...lots and lots of buttons. Chairty shops often have boxes full of buttons...sometimes you're lucky and can pick up whole sets, but more often than not, you'll get a mixture sewn on to strips of cardboard. I created a heart-shaped stencil, and then filled it with a mixtrue of different coloured and shaped buttons that I've picked up in various charity shops...I even found a cute little heart-shaped one :0)

I have  little package of Goodwill Blog Hop candy on offer...just leave me your link with the widget below...and I'll select a winner next Thursday (12th May)...all you need to do to be eligible for the draw is leave a comment on every stop of the hop.

Now let's hop to the next stop!  Your next Goodwill stop is Christel.
