I had my first go at resist embossing last weekend...I embossed 'Constellations' (by Penny Black) in white on white card, then rubbed several different colours of fluid chalk inks over the top...I had so much fun I did another in a different colourway. To keep the focus on the images, I kept the rest of the card really simple, embossing plain white card with my Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' folder, and adding a sentiment (the 'Happy Birthday' is from the CCSR set by Papermania, and the 'Thank You' is from the 'Heartfelt Messages' set by Hero Arts).
Challenges for these cards:
These are both great Helen, although I prefer the blue one because of the lovely shades of colour you used in the inking... plus I love the style of the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget about keeping down the number of layers used in a C&S card!
Thanks for another great submission!

I think both these cards are perfect for the challenge! Love the clean but textured backing, and you can't go wrong with the resist technique. My favourite is the blue one - because it's blue!!
